WHY AMERICA IS THE SAFEST PLACE

MY IDEADS MY NOT BE ACCEPTABLE TO SOME, BUT IF THEY ARE TRULEY HONEST WITH THEMSELVES, ANYONE WHO READS THIS POST WILL HAVE TO AGREE THAT AMERICA IS THE SAFEST PLACE IN THE WORLD. THE REASONS FOR THIS SAFTEY ARE VARIED AND COME FROM NOT ONLY THE USUAL ORGANISATIONS AND GROUPS SUCH AS HOMELAND SECURITY AND THE NSA, BUT I BELIEVE THE ONE THAT HAS THE BIGGEST IMPACT ON THE LEADERS OF THE RADICAL MUSLIM TERRORISTS IS THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA. HOW CAN THIS BE YOU WONDER? WELL, DESPITE THE NATIONAL RESOLVE FOR VENGENCE AND DEFEAT OF THE TERRORISTS AFTER 9/11. THE NEGATIVE PUBLICITY THAT HAS BEEN RELENTLESSLY PUSHED ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY THE LEFTIST PRESS AND TELEVISION. WE FIND A NEGATIVE REACTION FOR THE WILL TO ENDURE TO VICTORY IN IRAQ. THE TERRORIST LEADERSHIP KNOWS FULL WELL THAT THEY COULD NOT POSSIBLY WIN AGAINST THE MIGHT OF THE U.S. MILITARY, BUT THEY ARE ONLY TOO AWARE OF THE EFFECT ON THE "WEAK KNEED" AMERICANS WHO JUST WANT THE WAR TO END.

AS LONG AS THE TERRORIST LEADERS SEE THAT THE MSM IS DOING THEIR JOB FOR THEM, AND THEY ARE EVERY DAY, THERE IS NO REASON TO AWAKEN A SLEEPING GIANT BY CAUSING ANOTHER 9/11 ATTACK.

THE TERRORISTS ARE CONCENTRATING THEIR EFFORTS ON COUNTRIES WHO ARE LUKE WARM SUPPORTERS OF THE WAR EFFORT. SPAIN CAVED IN TO THE TERRORISTS AND ELECTED A NEW ANTI-WAR LEFTIST GOVERNMENT AFTER THEY WERE ATTACKED. ENGLAND, FRANCE AND GERMANY ARE LUKE WARM IN THEIR SUPORT AND RESOLVE ,SO THEY WILL BE A CONSTANT TARGET. THE SAME GOES FOR SOUTEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES. BUT AS LONG AS THERE IS A CHANCE THE MSM CAN CONVINCE THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS THAT WE SHOULD PULL OUT OF IRAQ AND ACCEPT A STALEMATE AS WE DID IN KOREA. THE TERRORIST WILL NOT PROVOKE THE WRATH AND RESOLVE OF THE AMERICANS BY COMMITING ANOTHER TERRORIST ATTACK.

President did The right Thing.

 President Bush vetoed the human embryo research bill for all the right reasons. First and foremost for the economic effect a guaranteed government, but tax payer funded, 25 million dollars during a time of war is wrong for reaserch that properly should be done by the private sector. Places of higher education like the way left of center University of Wisconsin would be a recipient of a large part of the money. This University is presently maintaining convicted felons on the staff, and doesn't deserve the money for some leftist "pin-head" researcher who should be working in the private sector not in a guarenteed tenured position. Let them get the money from the private sector.

Another reason is that private funded research has already developed 60 genetically diverse stem cell lines. Government should stay out of this research and let the private sector take the risk and reap the rewards if they are successful. Only a socialist leaning person would support the logic of government control of this research. As of now the democrats and other leftist leaning republicans are complaining of the huge profits drug companies are reaping from the recently passed medicaire bill. How is it now, that they want to shell out 25 million dollars every year for research on human embryonic research that may take decades or longer. The people involved in human embryo stem cell resarch still don't know what genetic changes trigger a stem cell to go from an undifferentiated cell to a differentiated cell. Until they learn this research is stalled.

The tax payers will be paying 250 million dollars this fiscal year for continued research on umbilical cord and adult human stem cell research. Don't let the usual suspects in the media and Congress drag out their victims of diseases that await the miracle cures from embyonic stem cell research. The ravages of disease will always face us, and we all must die of something. The magic elixer of perpetual life won't be found by throwing tax payers money into the laps of university professors, who probably believe in euthenasia and assisted suicide anyways.

 ONCE AGAIN THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS SHOWED THAT THE UNITED NATIONS IS THE HOME TO ANTI-SEMITISM. HIS SPEECH TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TODAY CONDMNED ISRAELS "EXCESSIVE USE OF FORCE." TO BE FAIR HE DID MENTION THAT THE HEZBOLLAS MILITIA LAUNCHING ROCKETS INTO ISRAEL CITIES WAS "A SET BACK TO PROSPECTS FOR PEACE." HE NEVER USED THE WORD TERRORIST IN HIS HARANGUE. JUST HOW DOES HE SUGGEST THAT THE WORLD DEAL WITH TERRORISTS WHOSE PRINCIPAL TARGETS ARE INNOCENT CIVILIANS IN ALL THEIR TERRORIST ATTACKS.

HE COMPARES THE PRESENT SITUATION WITH THE COLD WAR AND OUR USE OF NON-INTERVENTION TO BRING DOWN THE SOVIENT UNION THREAT. TO BEGIN WITH THE COLD WAR WAS BETWEEN TWO SUPPOSED ALLIES (ROOSEVELT MADE SURE WE WERE RUSSIAN ALLIES). THE ISSUE WAS WHO WOULD HAVE THE FIRST STRIKE CAPABILITY IF IT CAME TO A NUCLEAR SHOWDOWN BETWEEN COMMUNIST RUSSIA AND AMERICA. WE BOTH HAD THE WEAPONS BUT THE RACE WAS ON TO SEE WHO HAD THE BIGGER THREAT OF ANNIHILATION. EVENTUALLY THE COOMUNISTS RAN OUT OF RUBLES.

IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON, DARLING OF THE LEFTIST POLITICAL MACHINE RUN BY "MAD HOWARD" MAY BY BEING EQUIVICAL IN HER SUPPORT FOR THE RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN OF SENATOR LIEBERMAN, HAVE BEGUN PAINTING HERSELF IN THE LESTEST CORNER OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. HER SUPPORT FOR THE CANDIDATE BEING SO HIGHLY TOUTED ON THE "KOS" BLOGS AS BEING THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR CONNECTICUT VOTERS COULD BACKFIRE WITH DEMOCRATIC VOTERS WHO ARE NOT AS SANGUINE ABOUT WITHDRAWL FROM IRAQ AS THE LEFTISTS. THERE ARE MANY DEMOCRATS WHO MAY HAVE BELIEVED THAT THE REASONS FOR ENTERING THE WAR IN IRAQ HAVE NEVER BEEN COMPLETELY EXPAINED TO THEIR SATISFACTION. BUT BELIEVE JUST AS STONGLY THAT WE SHOULDN'T "CUT AND RUN" ONLY TO HAVE TO FIGHT THE TERRORIST HERE AT HOME ONCE THEY ARE EMBOLDEN BY THE U.S. WITHDRAWL. WHICH WILL CERTAINLY BE INTERPRETED AS A DEFEAT ONCE AGAIN FOR THE UNITED STATES!
PESONALLY I HOPE SHE KEEPS FOLLOWING THE MAD DOCTOR DEANS ADVICE. SHE WILL BE THAT MUCH EASIER TO DEFEAT WITH ALL THE OTHER BAGGAGE SHE BRINGS WITH HER IF SHE GETS THE NOMINATION IN '08.
